B30 – Neoprene Rubber is a mercaptan-modified chloroprene rubber (CR) grade manufactured by Tosoh under the Skyprene® series. It is classified as a general-purpose grade with medium crystallization rate and moderate Mooney viscosity.
This grade is widely used in the manufacture of automotive rubber components, industrial rubber goods, wire and cable jackets, hoses, belts, rolls, and anti-vibration parts. B30 offers balanced processing characteristics suitable for extrusion, calendering, and molded rubber applications.
Skyprene B30 demonstrates good storage stability and is commonly selected for general-purpose compounding where controlled crystallization behavior and consistent processing are required. It is suitable for use in formulations based on metal oxide curing systems.
