FKM Rubber KB2400Z (functional equivalent: Viton Rubber) from GFL Flounox is a bisphenol AF cure-incorporated fluoroelastomer based on HFP and VDF copolymer technology. This medium viscosity grade is formulated with an incorporated metal adhesion promoter, making it suitable for applications requiring enhanced bonding to metal substrates.
The material is designed for injection, transfer, and compression moulding processes. It exhibits controlled mould flow characteristics and is intended for manufacturing bonded rubber-to-metal components such as seals and gaskets.
FKM KB2400Z is supplied in slab form and is compatible with standard compounding ingredients typically used in fluoroelastomer formulations. The grade is suitable for applications where process stability and mould release characteristics are important during production.
