Description:

Polyethylene Wax is an artificailly synthesized wax used in solvent-based coatings, inks and to improve surface properties by lowering the Coefficient of Friction. It is used in rubber compounding as an additive to improve dispersion of various components.

Composition:

-Low density polyethylene (LDPE) homopolymer

Appearance::

- White prills

Uses:

1) Rubber:

(a) Helps in dispersion of filler and various other chemicals used in compounding.

2) Plastics:

(a) helps in decreasing die-pressure

(b) improves filler dispersion

(c) provides delay in fusion time

(d) provides excellent external lubrication

(e) provides excellent gloss

(f) helps in lowering melt temperature

(g) improves metal release

3) Adhesives:

(a) helps in improving adhesion to substrate

(b) improves resistance towards heat

(c) reduces processing time

(d) prevents migration of oil

Applications:

- Can be used in Rubbers, Plastics, Adhesives, Coatings.
