Accinox 100 (A-100) is a mixed diaryl p-phenylene diamine based rubber antioxidant manufactured by PMC. It is designed for use in rubber compounds requiring resistance to heat ageing and flex cracking. The material is supplied in dark grey flake form and is primarily recommended for black filled compounds due to its staining and discoloring characteristics.
Accinox 100 provides antiflex cracking resistance and contributes to heat ageing protection during service conditions. It also imparts mild antiozonant properties. The product is insoluble in water and moderately soluble in organic solvents such as toluene and carbon tetrachloride.
It is typically incorporated into rubber formulations either as a standalone antioxidant or in combination with other antidegradants depending on service requirements.
