Chemlok 6150 Rubber-to-Metal Bonding Adhesive | Parker LORD

Chemlok 6150 rubber to metal bonding adhesive container
Product Overview

Chemlok® 6150 is a one-coat, solvent-based adhesive designed for bonding a wide range of elastomers to metal substrates in industrial rubber-to-metal bonding applications. It is formulated as a mixture of polymers, organic compounds, and mineral fillers dispersed in an organic solvent system. The product is intended for use as a single-coat adhesive in most applications and can also be used as a covercoat over suitable primers where required by process design.
The adhesive is suitable for use with multiple elastomer types and is compatible with common nonferrous and ferrous metal substrates following proper surface preparation. Chemlok 6150 can be applied using standard industrial methods such as spraying, dipping, brushing, roll coating, or other uniform coating techniques. Typical drying involves solvent evaporation prior to rubber molding or bonding operations.
Chemlok 6150 is used in industrial environments where consistent rubber-to-substrate bonding is required under standard production conditions. It is supplied for professional, trained industrial use and should be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s technical data sheet and safety documentation
