Gumilease 1805A (McLube 1805A) – Semi-Permanent Mold Release Coating for Rubber & Plastics

Gumilease 1805A semi-permanent mold release aerosol can for rubber molding
Product Overview

Gumilease 1805A (McLube 1805A) is a solvent-dispersed, semi-permanent mold release coating designed for rubber, thermoset, thermoplastic and polyurethane molding applications. It forms a durable, dry, bonded, colorless film on the mold surface. The coating is engineered to provide multiple release cycles per application with minimal build-up and no transfer to molded parts.

The product contains a solvent blend of heptane and isopropanol (IPA) and is supplied ready for use without further dilution. It can be applied by spraying, dipping, flooding or brushing. After solvent evaporation, the coating can be thermally cured to achieve a stable release film with good temperature resistance and abrasion stability.

Gumilease 1805A is suitable for use in injection, compression and transfer molding processes and may be used on both metallic and non-metallic molds.
