Silicon Emulsion HS is a water-dilutable silicone emulsion supplied by Wacker for use as a release agent and surface finishing aid in rubber and EVA processing applications. The product contains dimethyl polysiloxane dispersed in water with a non-fugitive, essentially non-ionic emulsifier system. It is commonly used in mould release operations where controlled coating and easy demoulding are required.
The material is used in rubber sheet manufacturing, footwear components, bicycle tyre production, brake shoe moulding, and EVA sheet processing. It may also be used for surface shine enhancement on selected rubber articles when diluted as recommended. The emulsion is supplied as a viscous white liquid and is designed for dilution with water depending on process requirements.
Silicon Emulsion HS is available in standard industrial packs as well as smaller repacked quantities suitable for trials, sampling, and R&D work.
