Rubber Chemical ZDEC Accelerator – Technical Grade for Rubber Vulcanization

ZDEC Accelerator white powder rubber chemical
Product Overview

Rubber Chemical ZDEC Accelerator (Zinc Diethyldithiocarbamate) is a fast-acting ultra accelerator widely used in sulfur-based rubber vulcanization systems. It is suitable for multiple curing processes including press curing, steam curing, hot air curing, and continuous vulcanization methods.

ZDEC is commonly used as a secondary or booster accelerator in combination with thiazole and sulfenamide systems to enhance cure speed. It is applicable across a broad range of elastomers including natural rubber (NR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), nitrile rubber (NBR), butadiene rubber (BR), butyl rubber (IIR), and EPDM.

The material is known for its ease of dispersion in rubber compounds and stability under processing conditions in the absence of sulfur. It is also widely used in latex applications such as dipped goods and threads. However, it is associated with shorter scorch times and requires careful processing control.
